This was a very good training. I will highly recommend it my friends and colleagues. And the practice of relational presence has really increased my confidence in public speaking. The workshop with Daniel was magic and really inspiring! The exercises were at the right pace and they really allow you to see what may be stopping you from being confident in public speaking. I had a lot of public speaking experience going into the workshop but wanted to further develop my skills. Thankfully the course exceeded my expectations. Daniel’s unconventional approach to public speaking was challenging, informative and felt very safe. What I realised on this workshop is Public Speaking is doable and can be enjoyable! I really liked the discovery that everyone else is (more or less) in the same boat, the team effort and the reassuring atmosphere. It's definitely improved my confidence. This workshop gave me a great understanding of why I felt like I did in front of an audience and how to control and accept it (or techniques to control and accept it). As a result I think it has significantly increased my confidence. I liked there was no 1-2-1 comparison between participants, the supportive nature of the whole group which allow as relaxed an atmosphere as possible. This workshop gave me a valuable speaking toolkit and a newfound self confidence. It has also helped me to better manage everyday stress, something I was working on totally separately to this course, so it was a real surprise to indirectly identify common causes of that to boot! As a result of this training I have gained tools to help me to get to the source of my nerves and how to manage and accept them...and it's OK! And I do feel more confident about speaking as a result. Have had an incredible 2 days with Presence Training, learning how to better make a connection with audiences when publicly speaking. Have taken some really good things away, and super looking forward to the next half in May. My key takeaways? - the nerves we feel before publicly speaking .... feel it, accept it, AND ITS OKAY to feel that. - feel more within yourself, if you are comfortable, your audience will be. Don’t worry about them, let them worry about themselves Get used to zone 1. - be comfortable with eye contact, make a connection. What I got from this training was a basic methodology for enjoying public speaking. I appreciated the relaxed, safe environment.
