Would you like to actually enjoy presenting or public speaking? Do you hate being the centre of attention with all eyes on you? Would you like to feel genuinely confident and be able to make an authentic impact with your audience?
Believe it or not, this is possible for everyone, and it’s easier than you might think.
When you learn how to make a real connection with your audience, everything else falls into place. You will find that you can think more clearly, speak more naturally, and easily manage your nerves. This is a radically different method to the one taught in most other workshops – more gentle and yet surprisingly more powerful.
We’ve taught hundreds of people these remarkable skills in our workshops, which have been running since 2012. People have been amazed at how quickly they were able to transform their fear of presenting or public speaking, and how easy and fun it can be when you know how!

Why Presence Training is Different
The presentations we enjoy and remember are ones where the presenter feels genuinely confident and authentically human. This means the person up front needs to make a real connection with us as audience members.
Human beings are evolutionarily wired for connection and as a species we are extremely good at spotting when people are simply “putting on an act”.
At Presence, we don’t teach “performance”. We put the real human connection first. We’ll teach you how to feel genuinely confident and “comfortable in your own skin” and then how to meet your audience from there in a way that they can feel. For us authenticity isn’t the “icing on the cake” of presentations or public speaking, it’s the absolute foundation of everything we do.
Sounds good…How do you do that?
There are 4 or 5 simple principles that when combined will allow you to have this effortless confidence and real connection with your audience.
It starts with you. We’ll teach you how to manage the emotions in your body using mindfulness-based principles, and how to become comfortable with whatever you are feeling. We’ll help you to manage your adrenaline, so it never gets out of hand. And we’ll give you methods for dealing with problematic thinking or worrying, so it doesn’t get in your way.
It genuinely includes your audience. We’ll help you learn the revolutionary Relational Presence® method for connecting with your audience in a way that you can feel and they can too. When the people you are presenting to can feel that you are really with them and actually care about them, they are much more likely to listen to what you have to say. These are the talks that we want to give as a speaker and these are the ones that audiences want to be part of.
And we can teach you all this from the comfort of your office or home. We’ve been offering online training in public speaking and presentation skills since 2012. Although face to face teaching remains our favourite method, we’ve been delighted to see how effective and powerful online training and coaching over Skype and Zoom can be.

Our Principal Trainer and Working Methods
Our main trainer, Daniel Kingsley started out as a barrister working in the UK justice system, and worked as a lawyer for 15 years. He was taught advocacy, presentation skills and public speaking by top lawyers and judges. He co-founded RenéCassin, a Human Rights Charity, and spoke regularly to the United Nations Human Rights Council. He was a well regarded speaker and advocate and considered himself to be pretty confident.
In 2011, he discovered the Relational Presence® method. He surprisingly realised that this was a much better, more powerful and amazingly easier way to feel confident presenting and speaking in public. The main principle is that if we prioritise connection with ourselves and our audience, everything else simply falls into place. Communication becomes human, relaxing and at the same time really impactful. He has devoted himself to teaching this work since 2012, and over that time has helped hundreds of people to feel genuinely at ease being the centre of attention.
We are happy to train you the way that you want to be trained:
- One off sessions, as and when you need them
- A series of lessons covering a particular range of topics
- One to one or small group sessions for a group of colleagues or friends
- Sessions to work on the content or delivery of particular presentations
Just let us know what your needs are and we’ll talk to you about how we can help.
