- November 16, 2020 - November 24, 2020
9:00 am - 1:00 pm
This is the online version of our highly successful Foundation 1 workshop.
It takes place on Monday and Tuesday mornings (9am to 1pm), over 2 consecutive weeks – 4 sessions in all. Each session includes two breaks, in order to maximise concentration spans and learning efficiency.
The full dates are: 16th, 17th, 23rd and 24th November.
If you are booking for this workshop please ensure that you are available for all of the sessions. The maximum group size is 10.
Our experience throughout the pandemic is that it is has been very possible to effectively teach public speaking skills in an online environment (via Zoom), and we are excited to share this new format with you. All the key material from the original Foundation 1 will be included, alongside some new material dealing with speaking online, as well as to an “in person” audience.
Establishing an authentic connection with your audience is the key to successful public speaking. Unlike other training organisations, we will help you to develop a presence and a rapport rather than teach you how to perform. And, once you’re more comfortable and relaxed, you’ll find that the rest comes naturally. You’ll stop worrying about what do with your hands or the way you are standing and start enjoying a positive relationship with your audience and experiencing the ‘buzz’ of successfully getting your message across. Public speaking becomes powerful, effective and yes, even fun.
The Presence Foundation One workshop includes plenty of practical one-to-one and group exercises with plenty of individual feedback and coaching. You’ll cover all the essential areas such as handling nerves, speaking without notes and making powerful use of silence, and receive tailored handouts at the end of each day so you can focus on learning rather than note-taking.
By booking a workshop you agree to our terms and conditions which can be found here.
